Peter Greenwood

FCCA, TEP, SOLLA, Chartered Financial Planner, FPFS

I am proud to say I am one of the most highly qualified Financial Advisers in the UK and one of a small number of Fellow status Chartered Financial Planners. As a non-practising Chartered Certified Accountant, I use a lot of my tax planning knowledge within my advice. I am also a full member of STEP, a qualification held by solicitors specialising as Trust & Estate Practitioners.

Over the years I have developed my qualifications around the needs of my clients, working closely with accountants and solicitors for the elderly and vulnerable.

There is a real need for specialist advice in areas such as tax-efficient planning, long-term care planning, trust, and estate planning, tied in with family wealth transfer, so I look at the best way to pass down estates to your loved ones, whilst protecting your wealth. This all of which has led me to become a full member of the respected Society of Later Life Advisers.

I am committed to continue working personally with clients and their families for years to come. I am particularly proud that so many clients recommend me to their friends, families, and colleagues, and I am always happy to take on more like-minded individuals who are serious about improving their wealth and wish to forge a long-term wealth strategy relationship with me.

Trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

About

I embarked on my financial services career over 30 years ago and in that time have gained demonstrable skills and experience in all aspects of Financial Planning.

Many independent financial advisers claim they provide expert advice for ‘everything’ related to financial planning, but struggle to demonstrate this in real terms. Perhaps it’s because, I am half Chinese and a Virgo, that I place huge importance in giving the potential clients the confidence in my ability to meet their objectives. This has encouraged me to acquire a number of distinguished, professional financial planning qualifications.

Before becoming a financial planner, I had a number of principal consultancy roles working for Barclays Wealth Management & Private Clients, Zurich Financial Services, Halifax, Bank of Scotland, and Save the Children charity. Prior this, I worked for a Chartered Accountancy firm dealing with private client’s accountancy and tax planning.

I have been living in the Chichester area for 30 years and spend my leisure time mainly travelling, keeping healthy (!) and going to the theatre and cinema. This has led me to be a major sponsor for the two major art charities in Chichester, the Chichester Festival Theatre and the New Park Cinema.
